Star Spangled Poplar Lawn
Let’s turn Poplar Lawn Historic District into a red, white, and blue extravaganza! Decorate your homes as we celebrate the 4th and all that it stands for. It’s a simple way to show some community pride and brighten up the block. O’ say does that star-spangled banner yet wave! O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
National Night Out
Come out for National Night Out, an annual event that brings neighbors and local first responders together to strengthen community ties. There’ll be food, music, and a chance to connect. We hope to see you there!
June Potluck and HPLA Meeting
Join us for a casual evening of food and conversation. It’s a potluck, so bring a dish to share and your beverage of choice! Come catch up with neighbors and we’ll chat about what’s going on in the neighborhood and upcoming events. All are welcome!

This month we are excited to have Michael Squires host the community for a gathering with cocktails and nibbles as we celebrate the Virginia Garden Week success.

Whoville Light Up Poplar Lawn
Join us on December 2nd for our 2nd Annual Christmas event in Poplar Lawn. Come enjoy music, food, Poplar Lawn Park tree lighting and the holiday ambiance!
Live music, food trucks, the Petersburg Holiday Parade and pictures with Santa will all be taking place and we hope that you will join!
